UGREEN, Baseus, and CukTech Push GaN Chargers to 240W and Beyond

· accessories

The GaN (gallium nitride) charger market has been quietly consolidating around three Chinese brands: UGREEN, Baseus, and CukTech. All three have released new high-wattage chargers in 2026, with 200W+ output, smaller form factors than the previous generation, and aggressive pricing for the global market.

Why it matters

GaN chargers have been one of the most successful Chinese consumer electronics categories of the past five years, with the technology moving from premium ($80+) to mainstream ($20-40) faster than almost any other category. The 2026 launches push GaN into the 200W+ range, where it can power laptops, monitors, and high-end phones simultaneously from a single charger.

What is new

  • UGREEN launched the Nexode 300W, a 300W GaN charger with 5 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port at $179.
  • Baseus released the GaN6 Pro 240W, a 240W GaN charger with 4 USB-C ports and a small color display at $129.
  • CukTech brought out the CukTech 200W, a 200W GaN charger with 3 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port at $99.

The collective effect is that the high-wattage GaN charger category now has three strong Chinese brands competing on output, port count, and price. For users with multiple high-end devices, the value proposition is now strong enough that carrying a single charger for laptop, phone, and tablet is genuinely practical.
