Roborock Launches the Saros 10 with Adaptive Chassis and AI Obstacle Avoidance

· home-appliances

Roborock has launched the Saros 10, a flagship robot vacuum with an adaptive chassis that can lower itself to clean under furniture as low as 8.5 cm, AI-powered obstacle avoidance using a dedicated neural processing unit, and a $1,499 price point. The Saros 10 is the first Roborock to ship with the company’s new ReactiveAI 3.0 system, which can identify and avoid over 100 different types of obstacles, including pet waste, cables, and small toys.

Why it matters

Roborock has been the second-largest player in the global robot vacuum market since 2022, behind iRobot, and the largest in China. The Saros 10 is the company’s most ambitious product to date, and the first to ship with an adaptive chassis, a feature that addresses the most common complaint about robot vacuums: that they cannot clean under low furniture.

What is new

  • Adaptive chassis that lowers the unit from 9.8 cm to 8.5 cm when it detects low-clearance furniture.
  • ReactiveAI 3.0 with a dedicated NPU that identifies 108 different obstacle types.
  • VibraRise 3.0 mopping system with sonic vibration at 4,000 times per minute.
  • 8,000 Pa suction, the highest of any Roborock robot vacuum.

The Saros 10 is available now through Roborock’s online store, Amazon, and Best Buy in the US, with a European launch following in July 2026. A version with a self-emptying dock and hot water mop washing, the Saros 10 Ultra, is available for $2,199.
