Oppo Find X8 Ultra Brings a 1-inch Sensor and 6x Periscope to the Global Market

· smartphones

Oppo has launched the Find X8 Ultra globally, the first Ultra-tier Find X to ship outside China. The phone is built around a quad-camera system with a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto, and a 200-megapixel 6x periscope telephoto. The Hasselblad-tuned color science is on board, and a new dual-stage shutter button sits on the right edge.

Why it matters

The Ultra series has been the showcase tier for Oppo’s imaging R&D since the Find X7 Ultra, but it has historically been China-only. The global launch signals that Oppo is now confident enough in its supply chain to commit a limited-edition flagship to international carriers. Europe is the priority market, with the UK, France, Germany, and Spain confirmed at launch. The phone is also expected to be sold in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
