Naturehike Files for a Hong Kong Listing With 2024 Revenue Above 4 Billion Yuan

· outdoor-gear

Naturehike filed paperwork for a Hong Kong listing in late 2024, with its prospectus reporting 2024 global revenue above 4 billion yuan. The filing was covered by Chinese financial press including Eastmoney, and it marks a step up for an online-first camping brand that built most of its international footprint through Amazon and AliExpress rather than its own stores.

A marketplace brand goes public

Until now, Naturehike has been more visible in buyer reviews and marketplace search results than in outdoor press coverage. The company built its name on budget tents in the Cloud Up and Mongar series, then extended into sleeping bags, hiking gear, and ultralight backpacking equipment.

The Hong Kong filing changes that picture. A public listing gives Naturehike access to international capital, a path to brand investment that marketplace sellers rarely get, and a more formal relationship with overseas buyers who currently meet the brand through Amazon listings rather than the company’s own channels.

Why it matters

Chinese outdoor brands have been listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen for years, with Toread’s 2007 Shenzhen IPO being the early benchmark. A Hong Kong listing gives Naturehike a venue that international investors follow more closely, and it puts a public valuation on a category that has historically been dominated by private companies and marketplace sellers. For buyers, the practical effect is a brand with more resources to expand warranty, retail, and product development outside China.
