DJI's Flip Lands in the US: A Compact Vlog Drone With Full Coverage Props

· drones

DJI’s smallest folding drone is finally crossing the Pacific. The DJI Flip, unveiled in late 2025 and sold only in China and select Asian markets through the winter, is now available through DJI’s US store, Amazon, and Best Buy.

What is new for the US launch

  • Sub-249 g body with full-coverage prop guards, a combo no other consumer drone currently offers.
  • A new DJI Mic 3 bundle at launch, including two transmitters and the onboard receiver.
  • Native compatibility with the DJI Goggles N3, in addition to the Motion series controllers.

Why it matters

Most sub-250 g drones ask pilots to be careful with the props. The Flip’s cage design lets first-time owners fly indoors and around people with far less risk. That is a meaningful safety story in a category that has spent the last decade telling new buyers to “stay away from trees”.

The price is set at $499 for the drone alone and $699 for the creator combo. DJI is leaning heavily on the Flip to replace the aging Mini 3 Pro as its go-to vlog drone.
